Music has spoken to me again this weekend. Carly Simon will be on Oprah Tuesday. She's awesome. Everything in my life, from events, to friends and family can be traced back to a song. I guess you could say this is why music is so powerful in my life. Being a lyricist is something I value. Looking back and before and after times is neat too. I get to see how much I've grown. I write at least one song per day. This isn't to be in the record books, but to keep me inspired. Music, like God, is in my heart. To quote Mattie Stepanek, we all have a special heart song. I'm happy to say mine is one full of grace and peace.

So far, the month has gone well. We kept Chrissy last weekend and went to the 50th anniversary celebration at Epiphany. This week, we've been doing things around the house, and running errands, doing some shopping, and trying to heal from colds that my parents had. I'm happy to say the health issues are finally better. This weekend I'll get to relax with the family. It should be nice.

Here's a look at the upcoming week, starting on January 15th, Monday:

Monday: Kyle and I get to hang out at Market Square for the day
Tuesday: My first appointment with the Baclofen Pump surgeon is today, and I think all will go well
Wednesday: A day of rest as we see about keeping Chrissy again for a day
Thursday: Mom's day out with the ladies at La Madeline
Friday: My new year's appointment with Dr. Bosquez to discuss current medications and management
Saturday: I meet with Canopy and Tim at Cafe Soleil for the afternoon
Sunday: I have no set plans for today, but I hope to head to church

All is well otherwise. I'll post again after the week is over to let everyone know how my friends and I are doing. Cheers!
