I meant to say this in a previous post. April 2007 marks 1 year for me as far as having this particular blog. Thanks to Emily who showed me the one her husband made, and for encouraging me to jump on board with my own. LOL. Huzzah to anniversaries of all kinds, by the way.

The end of April is looking good. I'm enjoying family time, even though Mom and I have had our share of health issues. Next month, May, will be so busy. But I take it one day at a time, and succeed. That's all you can do in life...one day at a time.

I'm listening to a cool song by U2 called The Hands That Built America. Yeah, Gangs of New York is the movie it's based on, which I haven't seen, but yet, the song is great. Music has really done a lot for me these days. From pain control to aiding with chores, I have gotten far with it in life. Cheers to Liz for being a Music Therapy major...may Thailand be a new place to possibly try the craft, especially with the children there.

I love encouraging others. It makes me feel good, and hopefully, them as well.

I'll post again this weekend, after I see my friend Martin for lunch and shopping. It should be a good visit. Cheers to you all!

All's going well this month. We had a funeral this past weekend, kept my niece, and went to the new Asia Buffet. That was fun. Today I saw the neuro team, and the nurse is pregnant, due in November. Yay! I am okay. The new script got taken care of, and I had lab work done. The exam was okay. Tension and spasms are present due to the medication getting low. No problem. That'll be taken care of as of May 1st. I've spent the day doing little things. It's been good. Chores will get done later this week, and I'll feel even better.

My body is responding well to things too, which is great. My mind is running wild, but things fluctuate there, and I just take things as they come.

It's been awhile since I last wrote in this blog, but now is an ideal time since I got back from San Antonio Friday. We walked a ton, I got sunburned, and it was all worth it. We ate at Chili's, Marble Slab, and Rio Rio's. The weekend was spent unpacking, and relaxing. I even had a chance to get laundry done, among other things. This week I have PT and the twins are coming to see me Tuesday late in the morning. Next week I have more PT and Martin and I will get together Saturday. He leaves for his cruise next month, and it's an exciting time for he and Kelly. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends. It's been a long time. My body and mind are starting to wane from being so tired after the trip, but I'll get back to normal soon. What can I say, except, life is good! And writing is still my passion. It keeps me grounded like music, and I focus better. Huzzah!
