Post for Suze.....Financial Plan for end of 2009....

Here's the scoop based on what I have, and your book so far....Plan of Action is still in Progress but lack of honesty w/family, and bank, and apartment complex has me wondering if the lack thereof could pose problems for an end of the year move in date. Please know I am so grateful to you that it will be Mannah From Heaven if I can really and truly....HONESTLY do this.

Fixed income. SSI Disability payments once a month that should total $674.00 Per month on the 1st of each month. Law in TX says that this is the max for an individual payment. Being disabled is probably a factor too.....don't really know all the details even with the paperwork in my hands. No legal aid either. I can't find a single specialist in Houston area to guide me at all, and it's sending red flags up my spine.

I have 2 accounts. Checking and Savings with Wells Fargo Bank, FDIC insured. No problems. No Credit or cards at all. Checkbook, check card, cash for now. I can apply for credit in summer of 2012 after 5 years of building up the accounts, making the full payments here, and paying other bills in the new apartment.

All expenses are as follows:

SSI Max payments: $674.00

There is a $44.00 difference between the two. It stands at this:

Rent is 30% of Gross Income.
Deposit is $44.00 Difference from the Rent

Deposit when math is done will be $202.20
Rent each month when math is done will be $158.20
All other expenses including the rent are approximately $630.00

So far, money is not the key issue;. Or so I thought, till I did some online and other types of digging with a fellow college grad and dorm buddy who knows dollars, and the honesty down pat. He's no where near my apartment, but in brief said the Credit issue should be okay....IF I need it at all in summer of 2012 for expenses regarding checks, debit card. Cash is a no no because as a woman, if that disappears, whoops! Better to go with the Checks and Debit card for now to be smart with the moeny than not smart.

Savings account numbers look like this:

Started out putting $25 per month in.
Upped that number to $30 per month
Also got other money to put into savings. $53.87 Refund checks AND $250.00 for Disability SSI citizens from President Obama. Voting for him was the best thing I have ever done. In the past, it's never gone my way. Every cantidate I voted for LOST.

He WON. It's a gamble now with the economy, SSI and Medicaid too. I am not in dire straits but who knows what will happen when I appeal another medical expense denial from TX and Austin. Red tape? Absolutely! I have The Audacity of Hope in me, and YES I CAN accomplish this. HONESTY is going to pull me through!

This month I plan to put in an additional $30 into savings. Max amount for both Checking and Savings can only be $2.000. I see this as a bright spot. Here's why. I currently have over $600.00 in Savings ($652.16) and over $800 ($845.00) in checking with bills paid for the month of June. Can I stash at least $60 per month in savings till the end of 2009 and still do this move?

Apartment is nice. 1 bed, 1 bath. 610 square feet. Included are water, trash, sewer! Other bills can be negotiated given it's just me, no pets, or other occupants. Can Susana May afford the new apartment Miss Suze The Financial Action Planner Orman??????

Transportation is covered by the county door to door. Gas is Government Grants. Medical is under Medicaid (Star Plus HMO type plan) and out of pocket till we get me on Medicare Disability after a (I hope I don't need to be in court date) time in which the entire cost of transport etc. is covered by Medicare. Going with TX Healthspring that my folks have....if the state grants it.

Cerebral Palsy. Dissociative Identity Disorder. Moderate. I walk. BA in French in Houston. No problems there. Family and friends are in denial about this stuff.....but it's my life so here I go. 33 years old. Susana has no excuses as to frivolus why nots? because I don't know from others won't cut the mustard with me at this point. I'm stepping out of the box....Way out.

Just thought you could use some background information for the sake of the honesty factor. Ahem....Honesty is always my policy, even when I mess up. What human woman doesn't do that? We all mess up from time to time and the consequences are not dire yet....but boy, I am going to roll with this, and hope for the best. Cheers to you Suze. Approved, Denied.....Life will go on.

Move in date to be determined with full to capacity in the units. I'm guessing I'll be in November, December, or January of 2010 when the wait list factor says we have a unit ready for you. Come on in Susana.
